Learning content and how to proceed

  Based on the learning objectives described on the previous page, please read the assigned readings (1) through (3) and perform the following 1) through 4).

 Assigned Readings (1) and (2) are articles on "organizational learning" published in the Harvard Business Review in the 1990s. Assigned reading (1) is a representative article of "organizational learning theory" approached from technical views, and assigned reading (2) is a representative article of "organizational learning theory" approached from social views. Book (3) is a paper written for practitioners on "Communities of Practice. As mentioned earlier, the focus of this study is on Assigned Book (3), but we have assigned it to you because we believe that you will gain a deeper understanding of its contents by reading it in contrast to Assigned Books (1) and (2).

Understand the content of "Organizational Learning Theory" in the 1990s(corresponding to study contents A and B

 First, please read through the assigned readings (1) and (2) and organize the differences between the technical views and social views. In addition, please discuss the problems that each approach faces.

2) Consider the possibilities and problems of the concept of "community of practice" (corresponding to study contents C and D

 Based on the above, carefully read the assigned reading (3) (Chapter 1: About Communities of Practice (pp29-55); Chapter 2: Communities of Practice and their Components (pp57-89)) and consider the concept of "Communities of Practice" proposed by E. Wenger et al. Consider the possibilities and problems with the concept.

 In addition, please present at least three questions about the practical and conceptual validity of the "community of practice". This will be [Task 7].
