About Task 8


  As mentioned earlier, in [the 8th through 10th sessions], we will take the "action learning" methodology as a starting point to organize the characteristics of the methodology used in human resource development today, and explore its potential and challenges. As a first step, please briefly describe the characteristics of "action learning" in the "MarCord style," keeping in mind that it is a "method of learning through practice.

 In implementing [Task 8], please keep the following points in mind.

  1. Since the goal of this session is to understand the aims and procedures of the "MarCord style" of action learning, there is no need to point out any questions or problems from the participants' point of view.
    Please read the assigned reading from the perspective of clarifying the characteristics of the methodology for human resource development, and summarize it in about 1,500 words.
  2. There are no specific requirements for the volume (number of words) of the report, but a good rule of thumb is about 1500 words.
    (More than this is fine. If it is less, it does not matter as long as it is substantial in content.)
