Learning Content and Procedure

Based on the learning aims described on the previous page, please read through the assigned readings (1) and (2) and do 1) and 2) below.

As explained in the 8th Session, the assigned reading, "Action Learning in Practice: Problem Solving and Organizational Learning Develop Leaders," was written for practitioners by M.J. Marcord, a well-known "action learning researcher. In other words, it was written by a researcher who aims to develop Action Learning as a methodology with its own system for the purpose of disseminating it to practitioners. Therefore, it does not touch on the problems that action learning faces or the issues that need to be solved. In addition, the book presents only successful case studies, not failed ones.

In [Session 8], we carefully read Marcord (2001) and organized its features, and in [Session 9], we will challenge you to re-examine the same literature from a critical perspective.
